About ACT
The ACT (American College Testing) is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions in the United States.
ACT format

What to bring to the test

ACT scoring

The ACT test is scored in a range between 1-36.

Each of the four sections are scored in a range between 1-36.

The number of correct answers per question is called the raw score as in SAT.
-
This raw score is converted into the scaled score which is the range from 1-36.

After calculating the scaled score of each section, the scaled scores are added then divided by the number of section (4) to get the composite score, which is the average of a sections in the ACT test.

And the end is the ACT score
